I'm in Chicago right now for CAKE Chicago, it's a free alternative comics festival! If you're in the Chicago area you should definitely come out for it, it's going to be a whirlwind of some of the best underground comics in America!

The Short Run Small Press Festival is going to be rad. I'll be debuting a new book there and I'll also have a big pile of my older titles. Intruder Comics Issue #4 will debut there as well, which you can snatch up for free while supplies last. If you're living in Seattle you must attend this event and if you live in Portland, Olympia or Vancouver you should probably make the trek as well. This is seriously going to be one of the dopest events of the year, come to it!!!

I'm posting this a week and half ahead of time so that you have time to make a plan to get up here if you're living out of town, see you there!

Zine Fest in L.A. Today

Come awn down to the Last Book Store, 453 S. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA for the L.A. Zine Fest. There are going to be so many different piles of comics to thumb through! I'll have my own small pile at the Gnartoons table, but look at this extensive list of exhibitors!

I'll have a couple new digital prints on sale for cheap at the Zine Fest in L.A. on Sunday. These are the first prints of this kind that I've ever had before.

New Stickers in the Store

I put some new stickers in the store (look at the bottom). Neon green to boot! This is the first time I've ever had color stickers or circular stickers and so I am stoked. This is event is on a sliding scale of dollars, and the event is just for you and your friends.



Punk Rock and Comic Books, you have 2-weeks to prepare, put some patches on those dungarees and come thumb through unknown miracles of the small press sector with me, friends (when I said that this event is for you and your friends, I was really just trying to weasel my way into your group of friends).

PS - This is not to be confused with the other East Bay Book Faire that's happening in Downtown Berkeley on December 10th, where I will also be tabling - more details on that when you need 'em.
