One Morning in Berkeley

Here's a fresh San Francisco Bay Comic, well... I guess it's not exactly a comic... Whatever it is, I hope you enjoy seeing it on your glowing screen. This is in my new book Flermp.

And if the background looks familiar, it's because it's a hollowed out version of this old friend.

True Story

I drew this about a year ago - it was one of the first full-days I spent drawing in People's Park, which eventually became a pretty regular occurrence once the sun came out. There was a protest downtown yesterday that moved to the City Council Meeting where protesters demanded an explanation from elected officials as to how such a law could ever even be proposed to the people of Berkeley. I of course did some quick sketches of these events as they unfolded.

People's Park Palm

I drew/painted this tree for my friend last Wednesday, but then I thought maybe you might like to look at it too? Have a lovely weekend out there in the world everybody! It's quite a world, don't ever forget it.

Berkeley Likes It When You Notice Her Sidewalk Cracks

I sat outside and had a muffin on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley the other day and drew these trash cans on the curb. I tried to copy the tags off the cans, 'Doja One' and 'KTW' are oficially "all-city" now... or "all-blog" or... "all-sketchbook" or... something...
