I'm Not Crazy, I'm Big Boned - It's All Muscle
I definitely wasn't in the park drawing this yesterday because I would have been in the rain, but I was in the park drawing this on a different Sunday... When doodles suddenly took over my afternoon...

Haight Street Commerce
I've been posting a lot of oooooold comics up here on the blahg because I've been working up a bulk of work that I would like to have published in other places before it gets all used up on here. One of the projects I've been working on this Winter has been an epic series of "San Francisco Bay Comics" that will hopefully start showing up in a few familiar places around Northern California in the near future. If you've been following my blog you probably know that I infrequently draw up something for Fecal Face Dot Com's Free Fridayz drawing contest. Well they went with a Haight St. theme this week and I couldn't resist taking the opportunity to bust out a SF Bay Comic about the Upper Haight. SO, here's a taste of what you can expect from the next batch of Gnartoons.

Especially the One in the Leather Jacket...
Let's not forget about this one-pager. It was, after all, the first comic that I ever had published in color. The year was 2007 and the setting was Eugene, OR. My body was probably running on hummus and coffee and it almost assuredly was raining. This comic is based on a true story about a ruthless and daring band of rodents that lived underneath the refrigerator at 1975 Lawrence St, it was of course first published in the Oregon Voice.

Add a Little More Flavor
I've been posting a lot of black and white drawings lately. If there's not enough color on here for your cornea, be my guest and click on the button at the bottom of this post until you feel like you've got enough sparkly distractions from life's challenges.

Another Boring, Realistic Looking Drawing
I drew this while I was traveling around the Northwest this past Fall. This particular valley happens to be in the beautiful and unofficial State of Jefferson.

Whole Lotta Somethin'
I recognize that some of you who come to this web location are only in it for the thrill of bright colors and fast shapes. Take a peek but be responsible and try to ration the provisions, or you'll be downloading images and opening them up in photoshop to turn the saturation all the way up - just so you can feel that warm burn on the back of your optic nerve again.
I drew and rendered this at the same time that I did this one, they're brothers.

Huh?
Hmmmmmmm...
Well, I don't really know what to make out of this either. Let's all just take the rest of the week off and hope that this situation resolves itself by Monday. When it comes down to it, I don't suppose that we really have any other option. Though, I am open to suggestions.
