I drew this for a Fecal Face (dot com) Free Fridayz contest about a year ago. And here I am again, putting it out there for the world to see. What a brave, brave comic - slinking out of the shadows once a year to let the sun know that it's time once again to spread its saturated-sun-butter all across our warm, coconut-scented flesh.

True Story

I drew this about a year ago - it was one of the first full-days I spent drawing in People's Park, which eventually became a pretty regular occurrence once the sun came out. This is also the very first comic in a long series of "San Francisco Bay Comics", most of which have yet to be seen by anyone other than myself and my cartoon characters.

Japan Tsunami and Disaster Relief Art Auction in Eugene, OR - Friday, June 3rd

There will be some Gnartoons on auction at the Woodpecker's Muse in Eugene, OR this Friday (June 3rd). The goal of the auction is to raise relief money for the tsunami disaster in Japan.

Here are the basics:
-Friday June 3rd, 5:30pm - 8:30pm
-The Woodpecker's Muse
-372 W. Broadway (between Lincoln and Lawrence), Eugene, OR
-Silent auction of donated artwork
-All proceeds go to Tsunami and Disaster Relief fund in Japan via the Red Cross
-Beer donated by Ninkasi
-Live Music
